About Educademy
What Makes Us Different?
We aim to foster children’s sense of wonder in everything we do at Educademy. We are play-based and child-centered, and by taking the children’s lead, our educators can focus on encouraging children to make meaning from different experiences and fostering a sense of exploration.
We strongly believe that maintaining a positive relationship has an impact in their development and life-long learning. We strive to make genuine connections not only to children, but with their families and community at large.
We understand that not all families fit the typical Monday to Friday schedule, and that some families require extra flexibility in childcare due to a variety of circumstances. Part of our future plans is to offer extended hours and overnight care to cater to the needs of all families.
Finally, our facility has been recently renovated and furnished with the utmost care and thought for children’s needs. Each space is intentionally designed to be safe, welcoming and child-centered.

Our Vision
To develop an inclusive Early Learning Program that fosters children’s development by providing play-based learning experiences. We are firmly rooted in our community and aim to be of service to the greater community of Edmonton.
Play is a child’s work
Children learn through play! Every toy and play experience has a developmental value. To acquire science and engineering concepts, children can build with blocks. To develop creativity and imagination, children can work with art materials. To develop socio-emotional skills such as compassion, empathy, and problem solving, children can engage with dramatic play. At Educademy, learning experiences are designed with the end goal in mind but most importantly, focusing on play.
Parents Play a Role
At Educademy, we have an open-door policy with regards to parents and welcome all communication, participation and feedback. We are partners in the children’s development and value working together so that all children can reach their full potential.
